Legal Aid Line

Legal Aid Line is LAWO's intake, advice, and referral services program assisting eligible, low-income residents of northwest and west central Ohio. All applicants must meet income guidelines to receive services.

Client services are provided by telephone or by mail. If ongoing legal representation is needed, eligible applicants may be referred to another legal services office or to a volunteer attorney program.

Legal Aid Line is a toll-free telephone and Web-based system. Legal Aid Line staff provide FREE legal information, advice, and referrals to eligible low-income residents of northwest and west central Ohio. All callers are screened for income eligibility before receiving services.
